Expansió a trio (Expansion for Trio) is the outcome of a compositional study that seeks to explore the similarities and differences among three performers (baritone saxophone, accordion, and double bass). The sound evolves from the expansion of an initial cluster to distortion and the eventual loss of defined pitches.
